How can a space show as much as possible with doing as little as necessary?

 

When asked to design a showroom to showcase office park real estate to potential buyers, we took an entire office unit and demonstrated the potential of every floor, through only renovating selective key corners of each floor, instead of trying to do everything, everywhere.

 

All the renovated office spaces are directly usable as sales consultation rooms, can reflect a variety of office room and furniture types per the marketing requests, and all together will show the potential customers how their space can be in a before and after scenario in one setting.

WOOD BLOCK HOUSE

Taipei \ 2013 \ 110 sqm \ residential

 

 

An overly tight, four-bed-room river front facing apartment needs to open up its layout to the great light and views, and celebrate more natural materials.

 

The more functional spaces of entry, storage, kitchen, WC, and study are grouped as one wood block.

 

The remaining social spaces and bedrooms all free up to take advantage of the abundant light and natural views with pure, soft white walls and a diverse range of wood furniture and art work by local craftsman.
